And the reviews are coming in for
Joelle Charbonneau-Blanco of Wantz Upon a Time writes: "Weber's strong descriptive abilities are put to good use in this volume. The moon and the unique needs of a space colony come across in vivid detail and the characters each have their own histories and abilities, which help the colony survive. Any science fiction reader will appreciate the world Weber has created."

Finally, those of you who are sci-fi fen will have at least two more opportunities to meet me this year, one of them this month! I’ve been asked to speak on panels at three sci-fi cons! And to think last year I was just another fan. I’ll be at DucKon in Naperville, IL, next weekend—the 9th through 11th of June. I look forward to seeing you there, and at ConClave in Detroit in October. I’ll be signing bookmarks and giving away a few goodies at the cons, as well.
I was at MARCon in Columbus, Ohio over Memorial Day. It was great fun, as usual, and really thrilling being on two panels. I spent much of Saturday evening with Eric Flint, whose book 1632 I am now reading. Eric is a good friend of David Weber, of whom I am a fan. He’s also a good friend of Jim Baen who is a major sci-fi publisher. It’s great to be making these kinds of contacts.
June 15 is my Inara Press blog day. Each month we authors will have one day on which we’ll be featured on the Inara blog. You never know who will show up when Inara authors get together. Last month our characters all posted. It was good to hear from Moon Base Alpha, aka Luna City and even President Freezeland made an appearance and told us he was “just doing what is best for the country.”
June 28 I will be one of four Inara authors featured in the Coffee Time Romance chat forum. As usual, there will be lively conversation and giveaways. You can join us at Coffee Time Romance You must be 18 or over to enter this site.
Well, I‘ve started June with a bang and a broken wrist. It’s difficult to type one-handed, so this will be a short issue. See you next week at Duc!
