Well, I didn’t quite fall off the face of the Earth, nor did I stop writing. Well, not completely. Rock Bound is all grown up and better than ever, and it’s coming soon from Red Rose Publishing.

I hadn’t quite planned to resurrect Rochelle’s Revels until I had cover art and a release date, but July is the first anniversary of Red Rose Publishing, and we’re celebrating with a month-long scavenger hunt.

All you need to do is go to Red Rose Publishing, read the directions, click on the contest icon, and it will take you to one of our author’s websites. Find the icon on the website, write down where you found it, and click on it. You’ll find yourself on another author’s website. We don’t expect you to do it all at once. The deadline for lists of the icons you found is July 30. The winner will be announced on July 31. The prize is a lovely watch, which you can check out on the website.

In Case You’ve Forgotten

When the US Constitution is abolished and Congress is disbanded, Annie Peterson and Jake Johnsrud are among the thousands of people who descend upon the Mall in Washington, DC, to protest. In a massacre reminiscent of Tiananmen Square, many of the protesters are killed by troops surrounding the Mall. The few who survive and are able-bodied are conscripted into indentured servitude by the Luna Mining Corporation--a company owned by the President. They are among the first hundred people sent to settle and begin mining the Moon.

Annie and Jake meet at the demonstration when he saves her life after her husband has been killed. He is immediately attracted to her, but thinks he’ll never see her again as the soldiers pull him away. They meet again en-route to the Moon. Annie is still in mourning and shocked by the turn of events that led to her incarceration and indenture as a doxy for the men who will be mining the Moon. Jake fights his increasing feelings of anger and jealousy as Annie struggles to perform the job she agreed to do in lieu of being shot for treason. And Annie fights her increasing attraction to Jake, and the feeling that she will be betraying the memory of her husband if she falls in love with Jake. Together they are bound to the lunar rock that is their prison.
